Hello again, the critiquing site was interesting. I knew I had things to fix, I just didn’t realise how many. Sorry about how rough some of the writing is.
I got some really helpful feedback and in someways just wanted to rewrite everything before I moved forward again. But I’d better get back into the habit of posting. I hadn’t noticed what it added to my week and how enjoyable it was.
The first goal is to rework about every four ‘chapters’ of the Extraction Issues story concept into a draft novel style. If things go well I might get a third of a chapter a week sorted.
Things have been going okay with volunteering. Some of the places I have visited now have huge stacks of firewood and better fencing. I even worked on a proper building site for a couple of days. It definitely helped the bank account. Around here it can feel like winter in one place then you head five hours north and it feels like summer.
